I’ve been playing POE since harbinger league. I love this fresh take on POE but sir when we tell you you should follow a build guide it’s for a reason. You can make you own adjustments to a build guide to make it your own but those guides are created by people who have Poe spreadsheet for damage and optimization Ect Ect. Use them as a way to help you learn. Also check out zizzaran POE university series. Teaches you how the game works. How to build defense or offense Ect Ect

I do wanna add the best thing in last epoch imo is there is only one genuine pitfall for new players which is resistances. Even then thats really easy to fix when you know it's the problem. Oh also to add ive played through a few times now and I love how builds doing the same thing can feel so different. I love dot in games and there's so many options in last epoch even in the same character.

Ya, in reality, PoE crafters are just gambling addicts. I love fossil crafting the best, but its crazy expensive it you don't play boring ass delve.

It's definitely all about preferences, but my personal favorites are delirium (the music!!) , harvest, and this league I'm giving Delve a try. It can take a little bit to get into it but once you're comfortable down in the mines, it's fun to path towards unique nodes! Are you playing Settlers league at all? It's super fun, my favorite yet.

The crazy part is that it went from comparing PoE to Diablo, to comparing Diablo to PoE.

in reality, You cannot truly kill EVIL, you can only contain it. Every time an entity is destroyed, It takes millennia for it soul to regenerate. I believe Lilith would resurrect.

Pohx's Righteous Fire build is goated. I've played it many leagues ago (dont even remember which league it was), the Juggernaut variant. It's so easy to follow along, so comfortable to play and so tanky that I would definitely recommend for new players that want to try PoE. The only downside is that is kinda hard to scale the damage for late endgame content, uber bosses take way too long to kill to the point it gets annoying.

Funny how the story of Diablo are mostly about scheming instead of fighting. For us to begin the game killing some skeletons to eventually kill Prime Evil is one hell of a scheme they cook up.

Been playing since the late 90s and i was so caught in gameplay i gave little effort to the story. Thank you for catching me up and I appreciate the game all over again

I want to like it, but i just think that its slow and boring. The skills are mostly meh

I've been trying to play POE for over 3 years now, trying again from time to time, learning a little bit more before re-trying again, every patch/season, and i can't play it more than 5 hours before just giving up for a full week. It's not "hard" per-se, it's just dull for me. The animations are bad, the skills are realy not cool to watch, some systems are over-complicated, others are just... dull. I realy realy wanted to like it to see what the fuzz is all about, but i've sinked probably over 50 hours in it over 3 years and i still don't like it. Grim dawn, for example i've played over 300 hours and i still play it every week for a couple hours in 2024... Last Epoch is great also, still playing it. Probably i'm just not a dire-hard fan of complex ARPGs, not sure. The game is just ... boring for me !

D4 is missing so many things and agree with a lot you say! The butcher was a lot of fun when he appeared sometimes as a surprise, this exact event should have been more of in D4. Also, could not play "Hell" only the campaign that could be played there? Totally worthless! Then I've been nagging about being able to zoom out the game? the something that defines the diablo series! I know they fixed a lot of things in D4 during the year that I haven't played it, but I think if you sit developing D4 for almost 4 years? so should be able to release a game that has it all! the release of D4 first month was so embarrassingly bad! bought deluxe to be able to play a week earlier!! I regret it! Have you looked at the path of exile Kalguur expansion? the expansion has more content than the whole of D4 can offer haha and its for free? I can go back to D4 expansion if that expansion is for free to download!

The big problem in diablo4 is that they so limited gameplay! There are only 6 different spells that you can have on your spell bar? which will be very limited builds. Zoom out? let's zoom out? what is the problem? I guit d4 around September 2023 because the game was so insanely monotonous! Also didn't like this monster scaling hope they remove it because they so boring. Also don't like D4 inventories with items and layouts they look too cartoonish!! I want the ones we saw in Diablo2 with nice items you were looking for, it sounded different sounds put on armor or weapons =). D4 copy of d3 inventory which becomes pointless.

You were wasting upgrades on the torment map thing you should upgrade your gear and not spend chaos on maps until you got full atlas map and then to farm u use your chaos on maps and it’ll become very good, I know im late but maybe it’ll be good advice

I remember that act 6 was really hard but after fixing the skill tree with more life% per hit and resistance, and armor they went better =).. I think poe is a perfectly okay game but unfortunately the game has become too big, I can't take it get into the game! Liked poe when was act 1-5 it was enough plus all eng gaming. Sometimes miss that GGG could fix different leagues for us who just want to remember the old days act1-5 only =)

Nice to see this game have change so much over the years! i was Diamond Supporter back in days 2011 =) and beta tester for Act1-act2 =)..

I wish i could skip all the introductory story garbage and just be thrust into the real content, I hit a wall of extreme disinterest every time I launch this game despite seeing how cool it gets

Solarium is one of my favorite weapons. Not just in the game, but in all of fiction. I always wondered how cool it would be if your character reached a level angelic weapons could be weilded, like Tyrael's sword

watching this after my first start in poe when 3.25 dropped. Really relatable :D and i have to say, i love this game. its my fav after LE, D4 lost 2 places in the last 6 months :D
